Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients: Directions:

3/4 cup - pure cane white sugar

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and peanut butter.
3. Mix in the remaining ingredients while beating.
4. Drop a heaping teaspoonful on cookie sheet two to three inches apart, and press flat with a fork.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes until brown.

1/2 tsp. - baking soda
1 cup - unsifted flour
1/2 cup - butter
1/2 cup - peanut butter
1 - egg
1/2 tsp. - vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. - salt

2. In a mixing bowl, cream the shortening and sugar.
3. Add egg, vanilla and peanut butter and beat well.
4. Mix in sifted flour, soda, and salt.
5. Drop a heaping teaspoonful on cookie sheet two to three inches apart.
6. Bake at 375 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes until brown.

1/2 cup - brown sugar
1 1/2 cups - flour
1/2 cup - shortening
1/2 cup - peanut butter
1 - egg
1/2 tsp. - vanilla
1 tsp. - baking soda
1/4 tsp. - salt
